FOR PRODUCERS

Using leather for furniture production has a very long tradition. Despite the fact, that for many years leather was obtained from various animals, today practically only bovine skins are used for industrial purposes. Unique character is undoubtedly leather’s strongest advantage - each mat is different and testify to its natural origin. Leather prevents penetration of allergens found in dust (also animal-derived) and do not absorb cigarette smoke.

Leather has an ability to adapt to environmental conditions - it maintains average ambient temperature - that is why it will seem cold in a room with a temperature of 20°C, but after a while it will reach our body’s temperature (but not higher - as in the case of artificial leather). Its ability to adapt to ambient moisture is definitely its advantage - it is able to absorb and then release moisture, up to 25% of its weight, what makes it a specific type of moisture controller in a room.

FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS

The process of interiors design is as individual as the person who shapes it. As a professional in your field, you are obviously looking for products and fabrics that would allow you to accomplish your visions faithfully. All our leather types are designed for the production of modern upholstery.

While designing leather furniture, one ought to bear in mind, that leather is a natural product and it displays visible traces of its past such as brand marks, scars, growth lines, veins and areas of differing fibre density and hair pore structure. These hallmarks in no way detract from its natural beauty. As a general rule the more corrected the hide and the more pigmented its finish coat, the less these natural marks show through.
